Foreign Qualification is Prerequisite:	No
Notes:	Pursuant to § 11.4-1A.6 of the Town of Normal Municipal Code, applicants who are currently registered or licensed in any jurisdiction in the State of Illinois where the licensing requirements are equal to or greater than those laid out by the Town of Normal, shall not be required to take the examination or pay a license fee but will be required to submit a copy of the current registration or license with the Electrical Inspector and pay a registration fee.
Registered Agent (Special Agency) Required?	No
Requirement Notes:	First-time applicants must pass the relevant electrical examination administered by the ICC or its designated testing agent. Applicants must be 18 years of age and possess either 4 years of practical experience OR possess 1 year of practical experience AND have successfully completed a relevant course of study through a recognized school.
