Agency Fee:	Fees depend on classification and when you apply. For General Builder (Commercial) licenses: $500 for a full year $375 for a 9-month license $250 for a 6-month license $125 for a 3-month license For General Builder (Residential) licenses: $200 for a full year $150 for a 9-month license $100 for a 6-month license $50 for a 3-month license For Subcontractor (Specialty Work) licenses: $150 for a full year $112.50 for a 9-month license $75 for a 6-month license $37.50 for a 3-month license
Required Attachments:	$10,000 Surety Bond Certificate of Public Liability & Workers’ Compensation Insurance The City of Joplin must be listed as the certificate holder. The coverage must be at least $300,000 combined single limits for bodily injury or property damage. Contractors with more than one employee must provide proof of workers’ compensation insurance. An affidavit/waiver must be signed if exempt from workers’ compensation insurance.
