Contractors: Any contractor or subcontractor who wishes to construct, repair or reconstruct any project that involves public funding of contracts/purchase orders with the State of Idaho or any other political subdivision of the state authorized to let or award contracts for public work if the estimated cost of the entire project is $50,000 or more.

    • Class D $50
    • Class C $75 examination fee + $100 license fee
    • Class CC $75 examination fee + $125 license fee
    • Class B $75 examination fee + $150 license fee
    • Class A: $75 examination fee + $250 license fee
    • Class AA $75 examination fee + $350 license fee
    • Class AAA $75 examination fee + $450 license fee
    • Class Unlimited $75 examination fee + $550 license fee
Required Attachments:
  • Photo ID
  • Work Experience from past three years. Be descriptive with the type of work you performed. You may use work history while working for someone else.
  • Submit the appropriate financial statement for the license class for which you are applying.
    • Class A/AA/AAA/Unlimited financial statements must be accompanied by an independent auditors report or be reviewed
    • Class B/CC financial statements must be accompanied by an independent auditors' reports or be reviewed or compiled by a CPA
    • Class C/D financial statements must be accompanied by an independent audit report or reviewed, compiled, or on a form provided by an administrator 
    • If the financial statement fails to meet the guidelines, you may include one or all of the following along with your financial statement:
      • Personal or Parent Co. Financials 
      • Bonding Letter
      • Line of Credit
