A certificate of general liability and worker's compensation insurance of no less than $1,000,000.

Bond Requirements:
  • For residential contractors the bond amount is $5,000 per trade
  • For commercial contractors the bond amount is $20,000 per trade
  • The obligee on bonds must be Delaware County Commissioners
Notes:

Workers Compensation certificate is needed if the contractor has more than one employee when applying for registration.

Notes:
  • Plumbing contractors are required to hold a valid State of Indiana plumbing license
  • A valid certification of liability insurance and bond must be on file in the Delaware County Building Commissioners office
  • Workers compensation certificate is needed if the contractor has more than one employee when applying for registration. Be sure that you/your provider list your company/business name on all insurance certificates
