Liability and Property Damage Insurance in an amount not less than $100,000

Bond Requirements:
  • General: $5,000
  • Asbestos: $10,000
  • Tank Contractor: $10,000
  • Surety Bond should be worded as: Board of Commissioners of the County of Lake, State of Indiana and all other Cities, Towns and Municipalities Therein
Notes:

The City of Gary facilitates Contractor Licensing Exams for both general and trade contractors. There is a $150 per examination fee. Please see the Contractor's Licensing Exam Packet for more information about exam registration and scheduling.
