We are pleased to announce that we have published our Charitable Solicitation Compliance white paper. Charitable solicitation remains one of the most vexing areas of compliance for nonprofits. We created this white paper to help nonprofit executive teams and boards make sense of the requirements.

Our free Charitable Solicitation Compliance white paper provides in-depth information on the following:

• Registration and renewal requirements and fees
• State applications vs. Unified Registration Statement (URS)
• Compliance for online fundraising and “Donate Now” buttons
• Consequences and penalties for noncompliance

In addition to publishing our white paper, we have updated our popular Fundraising Compliance Guide, which has been shared by industry associations including Foundation Center and the National Council of Nonprofits. This Guide contains an interactive map with links to the requirements in every state. We have also updated each state-specific page.
